THE 10th SESSION OF THE JOINT SAUDI-ITALIAN COMMISSIONE

18/10/2009 - The 10th Session of the Joint Saudi-Italian Commission was held here in Riyadh on 14 October 2009, co-chaired by Foreign Minister Franco Frattini and the Saudi Minister of Finance Ibrahim Al Assaf.  The event was attended by a number of high-ranking representatives from the Italian business and academic sectors, who were able to meet with their Saudi counterparts at two separate technical tables: one on economic cooperation and the other on technical and scientific cooperation. In this visit H.E. Minister Frattini also took the opportunity to meet with the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs HRH Prince Saud Al Faisal and with representatives from Majlis Al Shoura. This visit took place within the context of excellent and deep bilateral relations and laid the foundation for heightened cooperation and exchange in different areas.
